Synagogue in Przysucha

Model Description

Sample text: The masonry synagogue in Przysucha was constructed during the third quarter of the 18th century, and was most probably partially rebuilt in the 19th century on an elongated layout. During the Second World War the synagogue was used by the Germans as a warehouse, and suffered considerable damage. Conservation work undertaken in the years 1962-1964 served to protect the building from further gradual deterioration. In the years 1968-1969 historical and archeological documentation and research was undertaken. Further conservation work was carried out in 1968-1970, the roof construction was altered from hipped to two-storey offset, but further work was abandoned on account of a lack of resources.
